
PUTRAJAYA: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah graced the third day of the Cooperative Entrepreneur Carnival here, today.
Received on arrival by Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof and Putrajaya Corporation president Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim, His Majesty proceeded to explore the myriad stalls and operators at the carnival.
Al-Sultan Abdullah also presented prizes to winners of the 9to5 Run Half Marathon which took place beginning 6am here, today. The race enjoyed the participation of some 10,000 runners, Bernama reported.
Organised by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development, the three-day Cooperative Entrepreneur Carnival which began on Friday features products and services offered by cooperatives from micro, small, medium and large clusters.
The festival also features BizOpp (Business Opportunity) sessions, which sees the founders of household brands such as The Manhattan Fish Market, Chatime and Al-Ikhsan Sports speak about entrepreneurship.
The carnival has so far attracted around 20,000 visitors and made sales amounting to over RM150,000.
